HISTORICAL RESTORATION

Historic buildings are the cornerstones of cities and towns in the Upstate. These older buildings
have the character and charm not found in most new buildings. Restoration of these buildings is
considered a specialized trade that requires knowledge and experience working with historic
consultants, and State and Federal Officials. These buildings are usually long obsolete and as a
result do not meet required building codes. We provide complete building and systems’ upgrades
while maintaining period architectural details and finishes. Our staff has successfully completed
many historic restoration projects over the years, some listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. Starting with a historic survey, complete design and engineering, and the completed
